What is a prosthodontist?
            A prosthodontist is a dentist that has been trained through an accredited postgraduate residency program to provide superior tooth replacement services.  Prosthodontists are experts in fixed bridgework, removable complete and partial dentures,  implant treatment, cosmetic procedures such as porcelain veneers, and full mouth reconstruction.

How can a prosthodontist help me?
            If you are missing teeth, a prosthodontist can offer all available options for replacement.  Their experience and skill is valuable in achieving the best possible restorative result.  In many cases, multiple missing teeth can present challenges to the restoring dentist. Prosthodontists are specially trained to deal with complex situations involving multiple treatment modalities.

Can you do anything about my anxiety?
            Absolutely.  We offer several services to help anxious patients. Nitrous Oxide gas can be very effective for patients that are mildly anxious, but for our more anxious patients we recommend Oral Conscious Sedation. You can find all the details on our Sedation Dentistry page. In addition to these adjuctive services, we always use local anesthetic to insure that our patients are comfortable during treatment.

Do you treat children?
           We are a family practice. Younger children may be referred to a pediatric specialist if we feel that cooperation could be a problem or if we feel the safety of the child is a concern. We have no restraints of any kind in the office, and have concerns at times with uncooperative, young, or fearful children. Decisions to treat or refer are made on a case-by-case basis.

Which insurance plans do you accept?
            We accept most insurance plans, including Delta Dental.  Some HMO and PPO plans require patients to select a contracted “network” provider for maximum insurance benefit.  If you have questions regarding your individual insurance plan, please call us at 262-240-0405.
